Two Wedding Venues in One Day: How to Explain the Transfer
When two functions use different venues on the same day, the schedule needs more than two addresses. Explain the sequence, the transfer arrangement and how guests should know which venue to visit first.
Make separate event cards
Give each function its own arrival time, start time, venue name and verified map button. Avoid a single map labelled “Wedding location” when it points to only one part of the day. State whether every guest is invited to both events or whether the lists differ.
Show the transition
Add a short line between the cards: “After [first event], guests attending [second event] will travel to [venue]. [Confirmed transport arrangement]. Please arrive by [time].” Use travel estimates only after checking the route for your actual schedule, and allow the coordinator to explain any uncertainty.
Proof from a guest's perspective
Ask a helper where they would go at each time and how they would get there. Check the transport sheet, RSVP event choices and calendar entries against the same sequence. If guests arrange their own travel, say that directly. Do not imply that a transfer is provided merely because the events appear together on one invitation page.
