Wedding Dress-Code Wording That Welcomes Existing Outfits

State whether the event is indoors or outdoors and whether guests will walk on grass or uneven ground. “Festive clothes you feel comfortable in; flat or block-heeled shoes may be easier on the lawn” gives more guidance than “royal glam” alone. Confirm venue conditions before including the advice.
Add a flexible palette
