A couple has agreed an indoor backup room for a lawn event. Their draft update says “same venue, indoors”, but the lawn gate is far from the indoor entrance. Guests following the original map could still reach the wrong side of the property.

The host asks the venue to confirm the backup room, entrance and drop-off point. One person owns the decision message. The updated event card leads with the room name and gate, then says whether the arrival time remains unchanged.
The useful detail
The shuttle coordinator and welcome helpers receive the same directions before the guest notice is sent. A relative contacts households who may miss a message. The website carries a visible dated update, while the old lawn directions are removed from the main event card.
What to borrow
Review the whole arrival route whenever an event moves, including parking, pedestrian access and transport. “Same property” does not mean “same entrance”. This example's proposed workflow would give every helper a consistent instruction. Its usefulness depends on verified venue details and someone actually sending the update to affected guests.
