A Sending Log That Prevents Missed Wedding Invitations
An invitation sending log records who received which version and whether a reply still needs attention. It is especially useful when both families are contacting guests through several channels.
Set up the minimum fields
Use household reference, invited events, sending contact, date sent, format or URL version and response status. Keep the distribution record distinct from attendance: a delivered invitation is not an accepted RSVP. Do not infer attendance from whether a message appears to have been read.
Divide the work clearly
Assign each household to one sender and give that person the approved files and wording. If an elder prefers a phone call, record the call as part of the same household record. Avoid creating duplicate rows simply because two relatives know the guest.
Use the log for corrections
When a venue or time changes, filter to the affected event and contact those households with the update. Mark the correction date so another sender can see it was handled. Review unsent and unanswered records separately. The log should make guest communication dependable without becoming a public list or a reason to pressure guests for an immediate response.
