Apartment Housewarming Invites: Entry and Lift Directions
An apartment housewarming invitation should help guests reach the correct building and floor without publicly exposing entry codes or resident details. Share general directions first and private access information only with invited guests who need it.
Write the route in order
Give the property name, tower or block, approved visitor entrance and floor. Check which lift reaches the apartment and whether the building requires host confirmation at security. Ask building management about visitor arrangements rather than assuming a map pin will get guests through the gate.
Separate private details
Keep intercom instructions, access codes and individual guest information out of a public invitation page. A private message can say, “Please call [host] when you reach [visitor point], and we will help you enter.” Share the host's number only with their agreement.
Test the directions
Ask someone unfamiliar with the building to explain their route using the invitation. Check parking and step-free access separately where relevant. If visitors arrive across a broad window, assign a host helper so the person managing the ceremony or meal does not have to handle every gate call. Clear directions make a small celebration easier to attend.
