Check what your groups already do well

If one group reaches every invited household and the event has one fixed venue and time, a pinned or easily resent invitation may be enough. A website adds little if it simply repeats that same information with more scrolling.

Review the questions your family is answering. Repeated requests for the reception address, a second event time or travel notes suggest that important information is getting buried.

Give each channel a clear job

Use the group for a personal invitation, reminders and urgent changes. If you create a website, put the current event information there and send its link with a short explanation. Avoid maintaining different schedules in several places.

Example message: “We would love to celebrate with you. The invitation link below has the event timings and venue directions. Please reply to this message by [date] to let us know whether you can join.” Replace the reply instruction if your chosen site has a tested RSVP form.

Plan for guests who prefer a call

Keep a readable card or short text summary available for relatives who do not open links. Assign one family contact to help those guests. A website can reduce repeated questions, but it does not replace a personal invitation or confirm attendance by itself.
