A Manglik result should be treated as a signal for review, not as a panic button.
What is Manglik dosha?
Manglik dosha, also called Kuja dosha, is connected with the placement of Mars in houses considered sensitive for marriage. The most common houses checked are 1, 2, 4, 7, 8, and 12, although some traditions exclude the 2nd house.
Because Mars represents energy, conflict, drive, and heat, these placements are traditionally reviewed carefully in marriage compatibility.
Why different calculators show different results
A result may differ if one calculator checks Mars only from Lagna while another checks Mars from Lagna, Moon, and Venus. A calculator may also apply cancellation rules, such as Mars in own sign or exaltation.
This does not always mean one result is fake. It usually means the calculators are following different traditions or simplifying the rules differently.
How couples should use a Manglik result
Use the result as a starting point. If the report shows a strong indication, families should consult a qualified astrologer with both full charts. If it shows a mild or cancelled indication, it may still be useful to understand why.
The best reports show the technical houses checked, not only a yes or no label.
