A PDF can share your wedding website’s colours, typography style and visual motifs. Match the design language and approved details, while allowing each format a layout that keeps its own content readable.

Create a small shared reference
Agree a palette, one or two lettering styles, a motif and the exact spelling of names. Save a reference image of the website’s chosen direction and identify the elements you want repeated. For example, a floral border and warm background may transfer well to a card.
Keep a single approved event-details sheet for both formats. Visual consistency is less useful if the PDF lists a different ceremony time from the website.
Adapt instead of copying a whole screen
A website may reveal sections through scrolling, whereas a PDF presents fixed pages. A long website section copied into one card can make the type too small. Split the information or shorten secondary wording while preserving the facts.
Motion, hover states and web buttons do not transfer directly into PDF artwork. Convert the relevant action into a clearly explained link and verify the exported behaviour. A screenshot of a button is only an image unless a link is added.
Review the pair together
Compare the final PDF and mobile website side by side. Check names, dates, addresses and reply instructions first, then compare colour, spacing and motif treatment. If one format is corrected, update the approved reference and check whether the other also needs a change.
Where custom design work is involved, confirm which assets and adaptations are included before assuming every website element will be recreated in the PDF.

A similar style may be sufficient. Font availability and export behaviour can differ; legibility and correct names take priority.
