A beautiful wedding PDF becomes more useful when guests can tap it and open the venue location instantly.
Why add venue links inside a wedding PDF?
Wedding invitations are usually forwarded on WhatsApp, saved in chats, and opened again on the event day. If the PDF only shows a venue name, guests still have to search the address or ask the family for a map link.
A clickable PDF solves that small but common problem. The guest taps the invitation and the map opens directly, which is especially helpful for banquet halls, farmhouse venues, destination weddings, and multi-event celebrations.
What kind of links can you add?
The most common link is a Google Maps or maps.app.goo.gl location URL. You can also add a venue website, RSVP page, hotel map, parking link, or a wedding website link if that is where you want guests to go.
For weddings with multiple functions, page-wise links are useful. For example, page 1 can open the mehendi location, page 2 can open the wedding venue, and page 3 can open the reception venue.
